Reaching Roots is a 2 week cultural tour programme by Government of Tamil Nadu for Tamil Diaspora Youth to help reconnect the present with the past and establish the umbilical link between generations.
We are thrilled to announce that a total of 9 students from Indonesia (with the criteria of above 18 yrs) have been selected for this cultural tour program in Tamil Nadu.
The majority of these students are Medan Tamilians who have studied Tamil at ITS.
These 9 students will be traveling to Chennai on 31st July.
We also proudly announce that ITS has registered with the NRI Welfare Department. This achievement highlights the tremendous efforts and dedication of our Tamil class team, especially Ms. Angai Elanchelvan, for her coordination with the organizers and students.👏👍
